The Repair of Pier 1 Project at Naval Base San Diego performed various maintenance and repair work tasks at this active pier. Work items included: fender camel removal and replacement; safety ladders; concrete pile repairs; concrete repairs; remove and replace CHT line including hangers; remove and dispose of saltwater pipeline. Much of the work was performed under the pier requiring work schedules and access equipment to accommodate tidal fluctuations.
