Emergency Chollas Creek Quaywall Repair, Naval Base San Diego, San Diego, CA

In December 2019, a portion of the Chollas Creek Quaywall at Naval Base San Diego failed falling in to Chollas Creek. Marathon Construction mobilize immediately to stabilize shoreline mitigating any additional damage to surrounding facilities. Work included: stabilization of remaining quaywall including installation of steel batter and plumb pile; installation of 600 LF of steel sheet pile wall; Revetment installation; securing and repairing damaged utilities; relocation of existing docking system.
