Repair Airfield Runway Lighting, Naval Base Coronado, Coronado, CA

This project was a team effort between the local Navy Seabee Battalion and Marathon Construction, serving both to provide valuable construction training to the Seabees and to ensure upgrades to critical infrastructure at North Island Naval Air Station. Marathon Construction performed all demolition, concrete, electrical and commissioning activities for the project while also providing oversight and consulting support to the Seabees for pile driving operations. The project included the removal of the existing runway lighting structures and installation of a new lighting structure system including piling, 6 pile bents, platforms, walkways and utilities.
