Marathon Construction designed and executed replacement and extension of the existing U.S. Coast Guard boat ramp which included installation of a 12” layer of ¾” aggregate bedding under the new ramp. Grade was established by using wide flanged steel beams. The final ramp surface was built using six (6) each – 8’ wide x 20’ long x 10” thick new precast boat ramp planks.
