Marathon Construction provided design-build services to NAVFAC SW for concrete repairs to Pier 6. Marathon performed all existing condition survey and design work, followed implementation of recommended repairs. Due to the utility trenches on either side of the Pier, work was coordinated with the low tides requiring constant schedule changes to remain most effective. Additionally, the Pier remained operations during repair work. Approximately 1,200 CF of concrete repairs were made to piling, utility trenches and pile caps.
