Marathon Construction, in partnership with Cass-Arrieta, contracted with the City of San Diego to accomplish two primary tasks: emergency concrete repairs to the over 100 year old Lake Hodges Dam and repairs to critical sewer infrastructure. The concrete repair work included 863 SF of spall repair and 4,379 LF of crack repair. Work access was via floating barge systems, custom engineered and fabricated to accommodate the barrel shaped dam, and via rope access systems from the top of the dam.
